Ingredients
200gflour
1eggat room temperature
170gwhipping creamat room temperature
60gsugar
40gbutter
½teaspooncinnamon
½pkg baking powder
2apples

Instructions
Preheat the oven to 180 °C. Line a 19 cm Ø baking tin with baking paper for the cake.
Use 12 muffin paper cases for the apple muffins.
Wash the apples and dry with a cloth. If you can find untreated apples, you do not need to peel them. Otherwise, peel the apples first and then cut into thin slices.
Add the baking powder and cinnamon to the flour, mix well and sieve.
Beat the butter and sugar in a food processor until soft. When the butter is soft, add the egg and salt. Add the flour and cream alternately and mix all the ingredients together well.
For the cake, pour the mixture into the cake tin, cover with apples and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 40 to 50 minutes.
For the apple muffins, pour 2 tablespoons of batter into each tin. Cover with the apples and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 30 minutes.
Test for doneness with a skewer before removing from the oven.
Leave the apple muffins or apple cream cake to cool thoroughly and dust with powdered sugar.
