5. CONSENT MANAGER
We have integrated the consent management tool "consentmanager" (www.consentmanager.net) from consentmanager AB (Håltgelvågen 1b, 72348 Västerås, Sweden, info@consentmanager.net) on our website to obtain consent for data processing and use of cookies or comparable functions. With the help of "consentmanager" you have the possibility to give your consent for certain functionalities of our website, e.g. for the purpose of integrating external elements, integrating streaming content, statistical analysis, measurement and personalized advertising. With the help of "consentmanager" you can grant or reject your consent for all functions or give your consent for individual purposes or individual functions. The settings you have made can also be changed afterwards. The purpose of integrating "consentmanager" is to let the users of our website decide about the above-mentioned things and, as part of the further use of our website, to offer the option of changing settings that have already been made.
By using "consentmanager", personal data and information from the end devices used, such as the IP address, are processed.

By processing the data, consentmanager helps us (according to GDPR this is the responsible party) to fulfill our legal obligations (e.g. obligation to provide evidence). Our legitimate interests in processing lie in the storage of user settings and preferences with regard to the use of cookies and other functionalities. "Consentmanager" stores your data as long as your user settings are active. After two years after making the user settings, the consent will be asked again. From 01.09.2024
This Site is affiliated Quality Media Network GmbH, for the purposes of placing advertising on the Site, and Quality Media Network GmbH will collect and use certain data for advertising purposes.
Data Processing for Advertising Purposes
a) General Information In the context of marketing our internet offers, various companies are involved in both data collection and advertising delivery. These companies take on different roles. They can be independently responsible for data processing (controller) or act purely as a service provider under instruction (processor). In the context of advertising marketing, Quality Media Network GmbH, Alt-Niederkassel 75 - 40547 Düsseldorf, Email: kontakt@qualitymedianetwork.de, is responsible and thus "jointly responsible" with us in the sense of Art. 26 GDPR concerning our offers. Details can be found here.
b) Collection and Use of Data in Marketing (Tracking, Profiling, etc.) To tailor advertising to interests and find appropriate target groups, to bill, measure reach, and control delivery via frequency capping, a process is used in online marketing that analyzes user behavior and creates pseudonymized profiles of users that can then be used in advertising delivery. For example, visited offers, clicked content, etc., are recorded and stored. Names and personal details of users are not stored. The cookie is rather a pseudonym, and the user's real name/identity is unknown. If necessary, data from other sources, e.g., parts of profiles from registered areas or technical data about the used device, time, or third-party sources, can be added. User behavior patterns on our offers are stored and evaluated within the profiles.
c) Legal Basis The legal basis for data processing for all profiling processes is - depending on the technology used, the scope of processing, and the involved third parties, either Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR ("consent" - if given) or Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR ("legitimate interests"). Both the operators of the offers and the marketers and other entities that play advertisements on the offers and/or collect data have a legitimate interest in marketing and monetizing their (marketed) offers through targeted advertising delivery and measuring reach and controlling advertisement delivery via frequency capping. This also applies to the creation of user profiles that enable this delivery. Without data processing, this purpose could not be achieved. Due to the pseudonymous nature of the data, users of such offers are not recognizable to us and our marketer beyond the recognition of the used browsers/devices. Interventions in the user's right to informational self-determination are justified by the fact that user data is pseudonymized and used only for relatively short periods. The interventions in users' rights are minor and also within their expectations, as users are transparently informed about the used procedures in privacy statements and provided with effective options to object. No profiles focused on children are created.
**d) In the privacy/cookies section, you will find detailed information on the individual data processing operations and the involved service providers, as well as options for consent, withdrawal, and objection based on legitimate interests.
Microsoft Clarity
We use Microsoft Clarity on our website, a service offered by Microsoft Corporation. Clarity analyzes the performance of our website in an anonymous form. For example, we receive heatmaps that show which parts of our website are particularly popular and help us better adapt our website to the needs of our users. This is also the purpose of the processing. Microsoft Clarity is used only if you have given your consent for this (Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. a GDPR). The storage period for the collected data is one year. Microsoft processes the data according to our instructions and on our behalf. We have concluded a corresponding data processing agreement with Microsoft.
We have integrated the consent management tool "consentmanager" (www.consentmanager.net) from consentmanager AB (Håltgelvågen 1b, 72348 Västerås, Sweden, mail@consentmanager.net) on our website to request consent for data processing or the use of cookies or similar functions. With the help of "consentmanager", you have the option to give your consent for certain functionalities of our website, e.g., for the purpose of embedding external elements, integrating streaming content, statistical analysis, reach measurement, and personalized advertising. You can give or decline your consent for all functions using "consentmanager" or provide your consent for individual purposes or functions. The settings you make can also be changed later. The purpose of integrating "consentmanager" is to give users of our website the decision about the aforementioned matters and to provide the opportunity to change previously made settings during the further use of our website. In the course of using "consentmanager", personal data and information of the used devices such as IP address, language, browser, etc., are processed and sent to consentmanager AB. The information about the settings you have made is also stored on your device.
The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. c) GDPR in conjunction with Art. 7 para. 1 GDPR, insofar as the processing is necessary to fulfill the legally standardized proof obligations for the granting of consent. Otherwise, Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR is the relevant legal basis. Our legitimate interests in the processing lie in the storage of user settings and preferences regarding the use of cookies and the evaluation of consent rates. At the latest, twenty-four months after the settings have been made, consent will be requested again. The settings made will then be stored again for this period, unless you delete the information about your settings in the designated device capacities beforehand.
You can object to the processing, insofar as the processing is based on Art. 6 para. 1 sentence 1 lit. f) GDPR. Your right to object exists for reasons arising from your particular situation. To object, please contact us via email at mail@consentmanager.net.
